Designed by Architect Mark Carnachan and built by the
Calley Homes team this project was a large scale renovation with extensive architectural landscaping features including a pool house constructed from in situ poured concrete with ply grain finish.

 

Tucked back from the street the home is surrounded by established trees, and precast concrete tilt panel boundary fencing, a glass roofed carport and custom made automated entrance gate ensure complete privacy. The exterior of the home is wrapped in Linea weatherboard in rich black and contrasted with classic white edging. 

 

The home has large open plan living, four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a media room. The private courtyard and pool area separate the main home from the pool house - the pool house is a major feature of the project and was constructed onsite utilising specialty concrete treatments and finishes that Calley Homes have become renowned for.

Finished with frameless glass bifold doors, the pool house services the outdoor space making the transition from interior to exterior seamless. This effect is completed with decking boards used within the pool house so the exterior decking flows right through the building.

 

Inside the pool house is a state of the art media room and a generous bathroom suite. The pool house has sophisticated automation and audio, lighting, ducted air conditioning and heating throughout. 

 

All of the interiors are crafted with exceptional detailing, clean lines and seamless finishes. Instead of skirting boards the home features negative recesses throughout creating a minimalist finish. 

 

The main living space has vaulted ceilings creating a sense of space and visual interest. The state of the art kitchen was designed by Morgan Cronin and is a statement with a five metre central island, window splashback and scullery. 

Much of the interior lighting is custom designed and made to provide a minimalist finish to the interior ambience. 

 

Each bedroom features its own bathroom space to ensure privacy for both the owners and their guests. High end products are featured throughout the home from the very best in oak timber flooring and wool carpets to the Danish Vola bathroomware, Artedomus specialty tiles and custom made frameless showers.
